Farewell 2018 - Hello 2019!

At a recent staff meeting, our local Cooperative Extension academics and staff compiled a list of accomplishments in 2018. And, if we may say so ourselves, it was a pretty impressive list! Our programs reached thousands of adults and youth through in-person contacts in the community, and many more people accessed research-based information on home horticulture, home food preservation/food safety, positive youth development, and nutrition knowledge through our web presence. The Advisors shared applied research findings related to their local work in academic journals and via conference presentations. As the bridge between the University of California and the community, we are proud of the work we do and we go home each day knowing that we’ve contributed to building stronger social fabric. Thank you for your support and partnership. Happy Holidays!
