About Us

Meet the Community Nutrition and Health Staff
UC Cooperative Extension Family Nutrition Education
provides research-based food and nutrition information and educational programs for San Mateo and San Francisco Counties. Our goal is to help youth and families make healthy food choices, maximize limited food budgets, and handle food safely.

Our staff of professionals bring a significant depth and breadth of food and nutrition experience and education to the programs. We act as a vital bridge between the UC academic system and our local communities, tailoring the latest science, curriculum, and information to the needs, cultures, and languages of our communities.
